• Reason for Purchase: My wife's sister saw a similar display I installed in my car. She also has an older car that does not even have any sort of display. Her birthday was coming up so we thought we'd give this smaller one to her as a gift.• Thoughts:1. Materials/Build Quality: (A) 3M-branded mounting tape. (B) Strong dashboard mount (have not tried the suction mount as I do not care for it/do not want my display to fall down secondarily to the hot sun beating down on the windshield causing the silicone mount to fall off the windshield or dashboard. (C) Strong screen display quality, i.e., not flimsy or soft when interacting with it. (D) Extra visor which honestly is super important. The one in my car does not have this and glare from the sun can often be quite annoying; the only reason why I wouldn't trade mine for this is that mine has a bigger 10-inch screen which I really like.2. Features: (A) CarPlay and Android Auto capability with WiFi or Bluetooth and quick connectivity to Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and S24 Ultra (do not have an iPhone to try CarPlay). (B) Dash and windshield mount (I use the dash mount with the very sticky 3M tape x2 that is included).3. Response Time: Quick touch-screen response time and finger to screen calibration with no significant lag appreciated. This is really important when driving to avoid getting distracted with a device that does not function quickly and as intended.4. Aesthetic: Beautiful design with a visor to prevent/reduce sun glare.
