I replaced the first Eonon head unit with this newer model. The old one 7" screen was so so at best. I looked at my options again and thought I'd give them one more chance to see if quality improved. If not then lesson learned and I'll do it right with a name brand unit. Installation was very easy. There's alot to be said about plug and play. Plenty of room in the back, so cleaning up the wiring was easy too. Watch a few YouTube videos to help clear up the owners manual it's not very informative. Connected to the wife's iPhone easily enough and wireless apple car play worked good. Bluetooth call quality was bumpy, sound was great but the incoming audio would drop frequently. Overly complicated eq. 12 channels would have been plenty. Her phone disconnected from the head unit when she walked away from the car naturally, but when she got back in I had to close out the tlink app and restart it so car play would reconnect. Fit and finish on this unit is very good. It's got a factory look, fits the dash lines well, and the large screen bright and clear. I put the Mazda logo on the boot screen which helps sell the factory look. We've only used for a week to date, and aside of the mentioned irritating issues it seems to be a nice unit. Only time will tell and if it goes down the same road as the old unit they will not get another chance. I'll update this review after I get more time with this/on this head unit.I have no dislikes the product came in good quality packaging, everything worked properly and exceeded my expectations I will definitely check out Eonon’s other products.I like the factory look and the plug and play of the install. I do not like the sound quality... even my stock head unit sounded better and yes i have played with all the settings and even switched the wiring around which improved the quality a little bit but still getting distortion at mid volume( which i had to mess with the settings to even get it to play louder) which i shouldn't be getting distortion at all and yes my speakers are fine since i can switch back to my stock head unit and it plays just fine. I also dont like how they didn't put a left and right RCA's for subwoofer and only had one. So i had to go get a male and two female y-connector adapter to be able to run my subs and the output sucks and doesn't allow you to really play with the output to the amp. So am currently having to max out most of my settings on my amp to really get any bass to make up for poor sound coming from the speakers. Also should have put slots for sd cards or sim cards. Instead you have to buy additional dongle to be able to have data on the headunit to run apps since my hotspot doesnt give enough for google apps to function. Nor can you change the home screen apps which it acts like you can but you cant. I would send it back and get my money back to buy something actually nice but i had to cut the remote wire that was wired into a plug that is supposed to be plugged into the antenna slot of the head unit then connect to a connection that my mazda doesn't have. I think it might be for sat radio but i don't know.. but i used that remote wire for my amp since the ones they have labeled needed to be connected together in order to have sound(bose system). Also for some reason my steering wheel controls work but if i press the volume up or down to fast it will change the song or switch modes which is annoying.To end this review i should have listen to the other reviews and went with something else.. but oh well.Okay, so I was a little skeptical at first because other purchasers had bad experiences.... so here's mine. As advertised, Eonon said, buy the radio and get 3 free gifts. I contacted Eonon on June 1st ensuring this fits my 2009 Mazdaspeed 3 Grand Touring, with Bose System. They responded on June 2nd, and said yes. I purchased it on June 2nd, and it was delivered on June 4th. I asked about the free gifts, and they provided me 3 different purchase codes. Only 1 purchase code (front camera) didn't work... BUT, I bought it anyways because I needed it. I started install on Friday June 5th, and everything worked great (except for the backup camera) The back up camera has the reverse trigger line towards the front next to the RCA composite video connector (yellow) and positive and negative terminals in the rear of the trunk with the camera. I tried connecting the positive terminal to the reverse light trigger - leaving the front trigger line unplugged and it didn't work. I tried plugging the front trigger line to the power of the radio, and still didn't work. Lastly I decided to connect the red trigger line all the way to the back of the car's reverse trigger light, and connected the rear positive and negative terminals to the battery.. still didn't work. I concluded that the rear camera just doesn't work. However, I'm okay with that as I was using this reverse camera as a test bed for functionality. This free reverse camera does NOT have night vision, so reversing at night will be impossible (but it's free - so what the hey). I'll purchase a night vision reverse camera later. The front camera arrived on Sunday June 7th. The USB Extender that comes with the Eonon radio is required to install the front camera behind the rear view mirror - if not, the USB cord isn't long enough. Also, front camera does not have nigh vision, BUT during the day and well illuminated streets at night provides a clear image. Overall I'm happy with the install. The steering wheel controls worked fine, the stock LCD worked seamlessly with the radio, and the Bose System sounds better with the Eonon than stock. One last thing on that... the wiring harnesses, CANBUS and the BOSE System wiring harness take up A LOT of space in the back of the head unit. So you have to be a little creative to tuck in the wires in the back without unplugging anything. Hope this review helps others!I wanted to upgrade my old Mazda 3 2007 with a touch screen and this one is perfect It fits almost perfect maybe a centimeter or 2 off but its nothing major. It keeps the steering wheel controls functional just make sure the cables are secure. CarPlay is great it automatically connects to my phone no need to plug any cables and it works great. Sound is great no problems there everything works as it should. Very happy with my purchased so far.Seller is easy to deal with. Good customer service and prompt responses.The unit (Eonon GA 9451) is as described. I have installed it on a 2008 Mazda 3 GT. Installation of the unit was pretty straightforward. Although, squeezing everything into the space was a bit challenging. The front of the unit blends well with the existing system and it all looks like one system now. The illumination color on the buttons could be changed. I have changed it to match the color (orange) of the existing system creating a perfect match.The unit is loaded with great features- still exploring. GPS card is not a must, area maps could be downloaded from google which works nicely with the unit. Dash cam (R0008), back up cam (A0119) and OBD scanner (V0056) works well. Dash cam picture quality is pretty good. It has better picture quality than the back up cam.Overall system looks and works great and I'm happy with it.Extremely happy with purchase with the equalizer I found bass in the stock system and it sounds and works as promised.Instructions were clear and with the help of some YouTube videos was able to remove the old head unit and replace with the new quite easy.My only issues:Dropping screws (Mazda has replacements)Losing clips (Mazda has replacements)Making sure that everything was packed in right behind the new head unit. Organizing the cables and ensuring that everything was in a place that worked, took some time however the final outcome was truly worth it.Once I got the new unit I reached out to the Eonon Team and they send me the free back up camera right away. I haven’t installed that yet.I love my eonon it adds more to my car it sounds better then my stock raido..the only thing is I can't get my steering wheel controls to work with the unit..it says it should work but I can't get it to work I had to get a Bluetooth remote control on my steering wheel which cost $20..Installed on 2006 Mazda 3 - very straightforward process, installed this and the included dashcam and backup camera over the course of an afternoon. Behaves as described, and is a cost effective way to add some modern functionality to an older vehicle. One important thing to note is that, at the time of my purchase, an Android system update broke the Android Auto functionality granted by the A0095 dongle you can connect to the unit. I was ready to just call it a loss, but after an email to their tech support, and a few days of testing on their part, they sent me an update that fixed everything. So if you have concerns about dropping some money on this only to be abandoned support-wise, I can assure you that their support is active and competent.Easy installation with perfect fit. Great update for an old car. I can finally listen to music via my phone (bluetooth), which sound great! I have yet to attach the usb cable (need to drill a hole in the glove compartment to thread it through) to test out Android Auto. Also planning to attach the gps antenna since there is the option to install maps/waze directly to the device! The microphone is the only thing that is hit or miss I find as some people had trouble hearing me (but easily replaced).Pictures to follow soon!
