I bought this for my tot, she absolutely loves it. I was looking at kids kitchen sets and decided on this one because Amazon had it for dirt cheap and it is small, since I was planning on putting it in my kitchen to occupy her when I am cooking.I put this together within 4 minutes out the box and needed directions only to figure out what the supports were, pink wedges that snap to the bottom to provide stability. Needless to say, don't worry about putting it together or needing tools. One feature that is so cute about this one that I didn't see any of the others have are the inflatable pancakes and birthday cake, it is my daughters favorite part. She is 1, so I have to twist the pancakes onto the stovetop, but then after seeing it once, knew how to press the pump (looks like a cutting board on top) to inflate it. I twist off for her, she then carries it all around the house and feeds her stuffed animals and babies before bringing it back to try to put it in the little sink. It does require a fair amount of dexterity to get the inflatables attached, a child may get frustrated. However, a tight seal is needed for the thing to be inflated, so to be disappointed by this I feel is only caused by unreasonable expectations. To prevent a frustrated child, I simply hide the inflatables when I'm cooking and can't entertain her. Problem solved! Also hard to do is change the dials on the stove that control the air pump. This may have been preventable if the knob had something to grip onto to turn it. Still though, this has no bearing because my daughter and I like the little thing so much. All in all, this is without a doubt one of the best toy purchases I have made for my daughter, especially considering the very low price. I would highly recommend! I paid the full (yet low) price, and just wrote the review so other people's kids could have some joy with this sweet little set.
