La talla perfecta!How very disappointing since Hunter brand boots are at a price point where I expected quality, and a true rainboot I'd enjoy for years. Since I believed them to be amazing via friends & overall reputation...I ordered two pairs as I had always wanted to have Hunter boots. They arrived quickly and I wore the first pair during rainy spring/rainy summer days since they are light and easy to slip on & off. Used them primarily for walking my dog/walking in wet grass. They stained w the clay/mud we have in VA & MD. But that didn't upset me -- no big deal.. What was surprising/upsetting is the rubber cracking which appeared six months in. So I duct taped them everywhere the cracks appeared (hence the silver tape on the first pair). After a year or so of teasing (from various friends) I decided to try the second new pair which I kept in my closet boxed as they were delivered to me. Same deal -- not even six months later the cracking started :-( I LOVED these boots -- but cannot justify paying roughly $100 for a product that doesn't withstand even six months of wear. What's going on here?? So disppointing.. Are these not true Hunter boots? Or did manufacturing use sub-par materials to make them? I don't know... So I wanted to share for buyer BEWARE.AS A FIRST TIME BUYER, that adored these boots in person, i was thrilled that they were everything and more, best yet was the inserts i bought to go with, absolute perfection!!!!HUNTER MAKES OUTSTANDING FOOTWEAR AND DONT STOP PLEASE!!!!!!These boots are easy to slip on and off. The rubber is soft and flexible, so they are much more comfortable than cheaper rain boots. They look cute and are roomy enough in the calf to fit over skinny jeans. Reviewers said to size down so I ordered a 7 instead of my normal 8 and they fit perfect. I only wish they looked more purple-- color was more of a blue-violet than purple-black.Great boot, different feel than a regular wellie, but surprisingly better! The wedge sole it perfect and I definitely prefer it to the separate heel. I wear a 8.5 normally, so always order a 9 when it comes to my work wear boots. These fit a little bit long length wise, but I think there’s a touch of extra width in the tow box that is just perfect! My poor pinkie toe isn’t left sore from a day in the Coop and garden! Also the sole has some really nice cushion to it and descent arch support which makes these worth every penny. Haven’t experienced and slipping with the solid bottom, and I’ve been in the muck with these already. Shaft height is great and width on the calves is good too, allows my pants to drop into the boot without have to struggle. My only complaint is the logo rubbed off the left insole on day one, but I can overlook the minor annoyance and have definitely found my new fav wellies.I live in Florida, so I ordered these boots because the weather is so crazy here and it rains anytime of the year. I absolutely love these boots. They are comfy and light weight. The material is super soft.I went with other reviewers' advice and sized 1 size down (Sz 8, so purchased a 7). These were too small, so for me they run about 1/2 small. Will be returning for my actual size.I bought these at the beginning of winter 2021 after much deliberation and wondered if they'd will live up to the hype of the brand name. I can honestly say they're great and really pleased with my decision to spend the extra money. I have only used them once so far but that was on a 6 mile trek and they proved to be really comfy, warm and stylish. I'm very excited at the opportunity of wearing them again. They have a thicker inner sole that can be removed, but its very helpful for added warmth and comfort. They fit well, my size 6 is a roomy 6. I'm always a size 6 and I can wear a really thick pair of fluffy socks (or 2 pairs of normal socks) and still not feel they are tight, I suppose if only wearing a thin pair they might be a tad too roomy. They do look great and stylish. The wedge heel gives wanted height but feels sturdy and safe. The tread underfoot is not to chunky and doesn't cause too much unwanted mud clinging on and helps keeping it low maintenance when cleaning. They wash mud off very well (like wellies do). I am very pleased with the purchase and so far feel the comfort, warmth and style are worth the extra money on purchasing a pair of "wellies". I really hope they live up to their reputation and last a very long time as the comfort and warmth feel well worth the extra money paid.Perfect! I have large calves and always struggle with winter knee high boots and wellies. These are great, fit me nicely and are super comfy even on long walks.Size is too big doesn’t fit and arrived a week later than was supposed to already purchased elsewhere. Terrible experience. Please refund.2 months old , can be real hunters they are called rain boots? The original are called hunterplaytall ?Love these Style of Hunter boots, the wedge heal make them so comfortable. I’ve added an insole just to make them a little more comfortable but I’d definitely recommend these to anyone!
