I own 2 pairs of the woman's Hunter boots, they are true to size. I have wide feet and did not size up or down, size 6 is what I wear in everything. Not all shoes are comfortable but these are VERY comfortable for wearing all day, with or without socks. I own a tall pair in black and a shorter pair in the Artic Moss which is a army green color. I LOVE THEM BOTH! They are great for wearing when shopping when the weather is bad or when doing yardwork when the weather is fine. I never use the pullup strap which seems to be more for appearance and are not necessary for getting the shoes on. The leg room is fine for tucking pant legs into the boot even when you are wearing socks.
