My son just joined a bell choir and I wanted to be able to practice with him. I decided it would be a fun activity for the family, and it may be fun to have guests play with us some time, too! I know, I'm dreaming... but maybe!!The bells came and are in excellent condition. The thing I was most concerned about was that they would be out of tune like some of the reviews suggested. They're excellently in tune with each other (I didn't check the absolute pitch, but I checked octaves and perfect fifths). I have a good ear and I'm quite satisfied(I'm a professional musician and a string player at that).The bells are easy to work and consistent from bell to bell so that they are all equally easy/difficult to make a sound. I would hate it if some were very easy to play and some more difficult.The set is nice to get started working on timing, reading music, finding your notes, and switching bells in a piece!
