I have purchased the Life Play S Quad Band Unlocked (Blue) and loved everything about it until I have received the SIM Card from company providing my Cell Phone Service.This SIM card is provided free of charge to customers deciding to switch to unlocked phone like the BLU was supposed to be.I have installed the SIM card, the phone did recognized it, but I was not able to place a call. SIM management option - "DEFAULT SETTING" shows the following options - Voice call, Video call and Messaging - all disabled (gray).I have contacted my Cell phone provider and after lengthy checking the technician determined that the phone is locked. His advice was to contact BLU and ask for help and he gave mi a Phone number to call, which I did. What followed was digitized word BLU and request to push 1 for English and then 2 Hours of most annoying music you can imagine (I was using the SpeakerPhone option). After 2 Hours (I was determined to be patient, I wanted to have this issue resolved) I have had it and turned the phone off.At his time I was not giving up yet. I went to local office of one of the major Cell Phone providers and ask for help. The technician tested the phone and verdickt was - the phone is locked, call the BLU and if you will not get a help, then return it.I also went on line looking for unlock code. The company selling the codes told me, that at this time phones manufactured by BLU cannot be unlocked.Enough of complaining, there are plenty of other options, but what I have hard time to comprehend is why company designing such a nice product will do everything to drive potential customers away by not even bothering to pic up the phone
